A while back I had the chance to tack a trip out to Phoenix Arizona and then to Los Vegas. In my short stay in Phoenix I had the chace to go to a Hookah Bar which was slated to close over the state had passed a law banding smoking in side bars. After mid May 2007 this hookah bar will no longer be allowed to have hookahs in use inside; however there is no law stopping the use out side (yet).
Here they have set up a line of hookahs where in people can pick the color of the hookah they wish to use. For me I had asked for a blue hookah like the one I used back in college while working in the old newspaper office putting the paper together.
On top of the hookah a red hot cole is use to heat the tobacco. There are 3 types of cole heat that is used for the hookah, one is a cole that has gun power on it to get the cola to light up right away, next would be what is called Japaness cole which needs you to blast it with fire to get the cola to fire up, and the last is wooden cole. I happen to use japaness cole on this trip.
After my stay in Phoenix I had the long fun drive of 200 miles to get to Los Vegas.
As I got onto the Los Vegas strip the sun was setting washing buildings in a gold paint of light.
Here are some shots that I was able to get with in The Bellagio where in at the time they had glass flowers on show and a butterfly house inside the building.
And as I was in the car going back to Phoenix I was given the finger from Los Vegas.
